Flash Fish HEYLOVE #1: silver and plum

Flash Fish #1 pairs a silver base with plum glitter, in a mix where holographic reflections throw back green and pink depending on the angle. It is the most neutral of the six: the violet cast stays discreet and silver dominates.

What sets Flash Fish apart from other glitters

The difference is particle size. Where a standard glitter gel uses a single particle grade, Flash Fish layers large, medium and fine hexagons in the same jar. The result is not a uniform sparkle but a surface with several planes, reading like a scale: the large hexagons catch the light, the fine ones fill the gaps. That is what stops the finish looking flat in photographs.

How to apply it

Prep with pH Bond HEYLOVE then Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, lay a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear cured for 30 seconds. Place the Flash Fish without stretching the material: large hexagons move poorly once set down, and letting the brush push them around creates bare patches. One to two minutes under the lamp depending on the load.

The valve jar, a detail that matters

Flash Fish jars come with a heart-shaped valve that seats back after use. This is not a gimmick: an open glitter gel loses material in runs around the thread and the lid ends up glued shut. On a product you open to take from twice a week, the valve prevents both the waste and the jar that will not reopen.

Where to place it

Its neutrality makes it compatible with most grounds. Over a nude it gives a dressy accent without imposing a colour; over plum or burgundy the violet cast comes forward and the whole becomes more coherent. It is the reference to choose first if you take only one from the range.
