Gel Polish HEYLOVE Cactus: the greyed forest green of the Basic collection

Cactus sits between the pale greens and the deep greens of the range, in a greyed register that softens the colour considerably. It is the easiest green to wear day to day in the whole family.

What grey changes in a green

A pure green reads as a fantasy colour and puts off part of an adult clientele. The same green greyed shifts into another category: it becomes a coloured neutral, discreet, that nobody will file among bright colours. That mechanism makes this reference far more sellable than a saturated green, within an identical colour family.

How to apply it

pH Bond HEYLOVE opens the preparation, Ultra Bond HEYLOVE goes on the edge and sets on its own, Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear cures in 30 to 60 seconds. Shake, then Cactus in one or two thin coats of one minute each, depending on the density obtained.

Who to recommend it to

Clients who like the idea of green without carrying its frankness, and those who wear khaki and camel wardrobes. It is also a good transition shade to bring a client settled in neutrals gradually towards greens.

When to suggest it

From September to March mainly, but it crosses the year without difficulty thanks to its greyed cast. It is the only green in the collection that does not suffer from marked seasonality.

On which hands it shows best

Its greyed cast makes it compatible with almost every skin tone, which is rare in this family. On fair skin it brings depth without harshness, on deeper skin it blends very naturally.

Which top to finish with

Gloss keeps the shade legible. A matte finish reinforces its mineral side and brings it closer to a natural material.
