Smart Gel HEYLOVE Vanilla: the cream of the Smart Gel range

Vanilla opens the Tactile collection with its palest shade. A very pale off-white, warmed with a hint of yellow, which stays in the milky register while avoiding its cool cast.

Vanilla or Milky

The question will come up in front of your display, since both occupy the same level of brightness. Smart Gel HEYLOVE Milky is slightly bluish and gives a porcelain look, very crisp but cool. Vanilla is warmed and gives a creamy look, softer on the hand. On a client whose hands are reddened by cold or wet work, the second harmonises where the first accentuates the contrast. That is the only criterion that matters.

Two formats, two different gestures

A useful detail before ordering. The 15 ml comes as a bottle with an integrated brush, which lets you work straight away with no extra equipment. The 30 ml comes as a jar, and therefore requires your own building brush. That is not a flaw, and it is even the configuration many experienced technicians prefer, but it is better to know before the parcel arrives.

How to apply it

File at 180 or with a 100-grit buffer, remove dust with cleanser insisting under the cuticle and in the side grooves. pH Bond HEYLOVE evaporates in thirty seconds. Lay Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear as a thin coat worked in by rubbing, completed to smooth, and cure for 30 seconds before removing its dispersion layer. Vanilla then goes on as an architectural layer: 30-second flash, then one minute with both hands together.

In French and baby boomer

Its warm brightness makes it an ideal tip for a baby boomer faded towards a deeper gel of the range. The gradient stays creamy where a cool white creates too visible a break. In French, it gives a clean ground on which the smile line stands out without harshness.
