Tint Base HEYLOVE Flirt: the warm pink of the Nude Collection

Flirt occupies the warm side of pink, fuller than the very pale nudes of the series without leaving natural territory. It is the balance point between a nude base and a real colour: you can see there is pink, you cannot see there is polish.

Dosing the pink through the number of coats

Flirt is one of the shades in the collection where the number of coats genuinely changes the result. One thin coat gives a veiled pink, almost a healthy-glow effect on the nail. Two coats lay down a full, opaque colour that reads as a coloured set. Show your client both results before curing the second coat: it is a service that gets noticed.

How to apply it

Standard routine: pH Bond HEYLOVE, Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear cured for 30 seconds, then Flirt in one or two coats of 60 seconds. The elastic texture of the formula follows the flexions of the nail, which limits cracking at the stress point on hands under heavy daily use.

At which time of year

Warm pink carries through the seasons but gives its best in spring and early summer, when it accompanies light clothing. In winter it remains a sound fallback for clients tired of beige nudes without wanting to move to an assertive colour.

Which sets to suggest it for

Worn alone, it gives an elegant manicure without effort. It also makes a very fine base for a rosy French, or for minimalist nail art details that stand out better on a lightly coloured ground than on a neutral beige. A fine liner drawn with Paint Gel HEYLOVE gains noticeably in legibility. It is also one of the easiest shades to sell in autumn, when clients start looking for a little more colour without committing to a bold one.
