Tint Base HEYLOVE Lotus: the bright pink of the Awaking collection

Lotus stands out from the rest of the series. A luminous, frankly coloured pink, in the middle of a collection made up of softened neutrals: it is the only shade noticed from a distance.

The colour that sells the neutrals

This is a display mechanism worth exploiting. A chart made up only of muted nuances does not catch the eye: clients walk past without stopping. A vivid colour placed in the middle captures the gaze, and it is by coming closer that the client discovers the neutrals around it. Lotus plays that role in the Awaking collection, even if it is not the one she will leave with.

Two formats for the same shade

This reference exists in 15 ml and 30 ml bottles. The contents are identical; only the volume changes. The 15 ml suits testing a vivid shade whose turnover you do not yet know; the 30 ml becomes worthwhile once demand is established, with a better price per millilitre.

How to apply it

Degrease the plate thoroughly with pH Bond HEYLOVE. Lay the acid-free primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the free edge and wait until the liquid is completely dry. Apply a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear as a foundation and cure for 30 seconds. Then lay one or two coats of Tint Base, curing for 60 seconds in a UV or LED lamp. Finish with the top coat.

When to suggest it

From spring to late summer mainly, where its brightness accompanies light outfits. On short nails the result stays crisp; on medium length the colour gains markedly in presence.

Gloss preserves the depth of the shade; a matte finish gives it a more contemporary look.
