Tint Base HEYLOVE Frog: the apple green of the Neon collection

Frog is a frank, luminous green, with no grey to soften it. At the exact opposite of the sage greens of the Lifestyle and Forest collections, it fully owns its character.

The comparison clarifies the advice. Tint Base HEYLOVE Matcha and Tint Base HEYLOVE Yoda are greyed greens worn as coloured neutrals, at the office as elsewhere. Frog belongs to another category: it is an occasion colour, chosen to be seen. Do not present them in the same conversation, they do not answer the same need.

How to apply it

Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, lay the acid-free primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the free edge and let it dry completely. Apply a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear as a foundation, cure for 30 seconds, then one or two coats of Tint Base to cure for 60 seconds in a UV or LED lamp before the top coat.

When to suggest it

From May to September, without hesitating to bring it out before the holiday departures. Fluorescent colours follow a very marked calendar: demand appears with the first warm weather and disappears in September. An order placed in July often arrives too late for the season.

Laying a fluorescent over a light ground

A fluorescent shade laid straight onto the natural nail loses its brilliance, because the colour of the bed shows through and dulls the pigment. Lay a milky or white base before the colour.

How many bottles to plan for

On an occasion collection, one bottle per shade is plenty to start with.

On which lengths

On short nails the result stays crisp; on medium length the colour becomes markedly more assertive.

Which top to finish with

Gloss keeps the fluorescent at its brightest; a matte finish calms it noticeably.
