Tint Base HEYLOVE Kombucha: the shimmer nude pink of Pop Drinks

Kombucha is a very pale nude pink, close to translucent, brought to life by a silver shimmer. It is the shade in the collection that comes nearest to a classic nude, except that it never stays entirely still under the light.

The nude that does not bore

A well-executed nude set can start to feel dull to a client who comes back every month. Kombucha solves exactly that problem: same discretion, same compatibility with a professional setting, but with a glow that gives the manicure something to offer the eye. It is a loyalty shade, the one you suggest when routine sets in.

How to apply it

Dehydrate with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, then Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear cured for 30 seconds, followed by Kombucha in two coats of 60 seconds. On a shade this pale, the second coat is not optional: it evens out the ground and densifies the distribution of the particles.

Kombucha or Cashew

These are the two shimmer nudes of the range, and they do not do the same job. Tint Base HEYLOVE Cashew, in the Nuts collection, is a frankly covering nude beige. Kombucha is a far more translucent nude pink. On an uneven nail, Cashew masks; Kombucha lets it show. The choice therefore rests first on the state of the plate and only then on the shade.

Which nails it suits

It works at any length but shines particularly on short nails, where the shimmer compensates for the reduced surface. On badly damaged or ridged nails, unfortunately, its translucency lets the flaws show: reach for a properly covering nude from the Nude Collection instead, and come back to Kombucha once the plate has recovered. Ordered alongside a covering nude, it gives you an answer for both a healthy plate and a damaged one without adding a third reference.
