Tint Base HEYLOVE Sunset: the lavender of the Sunset collection

Sunset gives the collection its name and forms one of its two violet shades. A soft lavender, neither too blue nor too pink, which brings a frank colour while staying wearable day to day.

A collection in three families

The series is not homogeneous and it is better to know before ordering. It brings together five pinks, one beige and two violets. Sunset and Tint Base HEYLOVE 6 p.m. form the violet side, clearly apart from the rest. If you want to cover the widest demand with three bottles, take a light pink, the beige and one of the two violets.

A neutral pH

The technical sheet states a neutral acidity of 6.7. This is worth knowing: a base with a pH close to neutral is used without attacking the plate, unlike acid primers. It does not replace the acid-free primer on the free edge, but it explains why these bases are applied straight after degreasing.

How to apply it

Degrease the plate thoroughly with pH Bond HEYLOVE. Lay the acid-free primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the free edge and wait until the liquid is completely dry. Apply a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear as a foundation and cure for 30 seconds. Then lay one or two coats of Tint Base, curing for 60 seconds in a UV or LED lamp. Finish with the top coat.

On which hands it shows best

Lavender plays fully on cool skin tones, where it naturally extends the visible veins at the wrist. On warm skin it stays wearable but reads more as an assertive colour.

When to suggest it

From spring to late summer mainly, where its freshness accompanies light outfits. On short nails the result stays measured.

Which top to finish with

Gloss keeps the lavender luminous; a matte finish shifts it towards a chalky register.
