Tint Base HEYLOVE Sorbet: the mint green of the Juicy collection

Sorbet is a pastel mint green, heavily lightened. Where the deeper greens of the range such as Tint Base HEYLOVE Leaf commit to a full colour, Sorbet stays in pastel territory and wears like a coloured nude.

Green, and the fear it inspires

No family of colours meets as much resistance in the salon. The worry is always the same: looking like you are in costume. A very pale pastel green defuses that objection entirely, because it is perceived as a shade rather than a colour. It is the ideal way into greens for a client who has never worn one.

How to apply it

Dehydrate with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, then Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear cured for 30 seconds, followed by one or two coats of Sorbet at 60 seconds each. With pastels, evenness is everything: the slightest difference in thickness shows far more than it would on a dark shade.

The greens of the range
