A descent from brick red to caramel

The segment orders itself naturally, from the terracotta of East to the caramel beige of Toffee, passing through reddened browns and taupes. Built in that order, the chart reads as a progression and every gap becomes perceptible, whereas eight browns in disorder look identical.

The family that works on every hand

That is what gives this segment its commercial value. Terracottas and pinkish browns extend fair skin as well as golden, unlike cool reds or pastels. It is the register to offer when you do not yet know the client and want a safe result.

How to apply them

Stick each label on the matching tip, on the side that does not carry the colour, before fixing the tip to the ring or fan. Tiramisu, Horse and Toscana are very close: label them first, with the bottle beside you.

Gourmet names, no colour indication

Rooibos Tea, Tiramisu, Brandy and Toffee are easy to remember but say nothing of the shade. A client will ask for "the Tiramisu" six months later, and without a labelled chart you cannot serve it to her.

Its season

From September to March, with a clear peak in autumn when wardrobes turn to camel, chocolate and terracotta. It is the most requested segment of the cold season after the plums.

A word on wear

Glitter does not fade, it dulls: the top coat above it scratches, and the sparkle goes with it. That is why the quality of the seal decides how long the set stays impressive, far more than the gel underneath.
