Reflective Top HEYLOVE Silver: the top coat that lights up under flash

Reflective Top Silver applies like an ordinary top coat and turns any colour into a reflective surface. Its particularity: the effect only really shows under a direct light source.

Two sets in one

This is the principle to explain to the client before you start, otherwise she will be disappointed on leaving the salon. In ambient light the finish stays understated: a discreet sparkling veil over the colour beneath. Under a phone flash, in a club or in full sun, the particles throw the light back all at once and the nail looks illuminated. The same set therefore gives two radically different results depending on the setting.

What it is worth commercially

This is a product that sells through photographs. A client who photographs her hands under flash gets an image her friends notice, and that kind of image brings appointments. Few finishes have that word-of-mouth effect, which justifies offering it even to clients who never ask for nail art.

How to apply it

A thin coat from cuticle to free edge over a cured colour, then sixty seconds under the lamp. The medium-thick consistency spreads without running, but do not go back over with the brush: on a particle top coat, a second pass creates zones of uneven density that show precisely when the effect lights up.

Which ground to use it over

Contrast does everything. Over a dark ground, black or burgundy, the silver particles stand out sharply and the effect is at its maximum. Over a nude or a white they blend in and the result stays very restrained, including under flash. If you only show one example, show it over a dark shade.
