Top HEYLOVE Gold Shimmer: the champagne veil

Gold Shimmer works like its silver equivalent but in a warm tonality. Its gold micro-particles give the ground a champagne quality, light enough never to resemble a classic glitter top coat.

What it brings to nudes

This is its main territory. A well-applied nude often stays a little flat, especially on clients who wear one every month. A gold veil over the top does not change the colour but gives it a material: the hand stays nude from three metres away, and up close something is happening. It is the most economical way to renew a service that is starting to bore, without introducing colour or nail art.

How to apply it

A thin coat over the cured colour, sixty seconds under the lamp. As with the whole shimmer family, density is set by the number of coats rather than the thickness of one: an overloaded coat runs into the lateral sidewalls and leaves a visible build-up.

With which shades

It naturally extends beiges, browns, terracottas, warm reds and burgundies. On the Tint Base shades of the Nuts collection the match is immediate. Over a blue or a grey, however, the gold creates an unflattering greenish dissonance: Top HEYLOVE Silver Shimmer is then the right answer. Having both covers the entire colour chart.

On extensions

Over a long surface, a uniform shimmer accentuates the length by giving a natural gradient of light from the free edge towards the cuticle. It is an effect clear top coats do not produce and it shows off the construction work.
