Coin Top HEYLOVE Gold: glitter in a single step

Coin Top Gold takes the principle of the Coin Gel HEYLOVE range, gold hexagons, but as a brush-on top coat rather than a gel in a jar. The difference in use is total: here you are not building a design, you are finishing a set.

The last-minute design

This is its real salon use and it comes up more often than you might think. A client is seated, the set is done, and at the last moment she mentions she is going out tonight. Redoing the colour is out of the question. A glitter top coat on two fingers takes a minute and completely changes the register of the hand. Chargeable as an extra, without lengthening the appointment.

How to apply it

A thin coat over the cured colour, then sixty seconds under the lamp. Load the brush generously when you take from the bottle: the glitter settles at the bottom and a wiped brush brings back only the liquid. On the larger particles, check that none is overhanging the free edge before going under the lamp.

Fade or full coverage

Two different results from the same bottle. In full coverage the hand is definitely gold and the whole thing tips into the festive register. As a fade, with the glitter concentrated towards the free edge and blended out towards the cuticle, the result stays far more wearable day to day. That second option sells better outside the party season.

Sealing

The glitter creates relief you can feel. If the client is sensitive to it, a coat of Top HEYLOVE No Sticky over the top smooths the surface. It is not compulsory, but on a set worn for a month it makes a difference to comfort.
