Top HEYLOVE Milky Way: the milky effect in one step

Milky Way is not a clear top coat but a tinted one. Its translucent white goes on like an ordinary finish and changes what lies beneath: the nail plate stays visible, softened by a milky veil.

The Color and BB Top collection

This is a family apart in the catalogue, not to be confused with the classic glossy top coats. Seven tinted references: three Color Tops, including this one, and four pink BB Tops. All work on the same principle, that of a coloured filter applied last. The difference from a polish is essential: here, the colour underneath continues to show.

Milky without repainting

That is its main salon interest. A milky set normally requires a milky base applied in one or two coats, with the evenness work that implies. This top coat produces a comparable result in a single gesture, over a simply prepared nail. The time saved is real on a request that comes up very often.

How to apply it

A thin coat from cuticle to free edge, then sixty seconds under the lamp. Density is set by the number of coats: one gives a discreet veil, two a definite milky finish. Work evenly, a tinted top coat does not forgive excess thickness, which shows up as whiter patches.

Over a design

That is its second use, less obvious. Applied over glitter or nail art, it creates an effect of material caught under ice: the design stays legible but recedes, softened. It is a way of rescuing a design judged too loud without removing everything.
