Top HEYLOVE Super Matte: the matte that lasts

Super Matte is the only matte top coat in the HEYLOVE range. Its medium-thick consistency spreads without running and gives a definite velvet, far from the light mattifiers that leave an undecided satin.

The real problem with a matte finish

It is not how it looks coming out of the lamp, it is what it becomes. An ordinary matte picks up fingerprints, and above all it turns glossy in places through friction: fingertips, keyboard, steering wheel. After ten days the set is matte in patches. The stated resistance here to scratches, impacts and household products targets exactly that fault, and it is the criterion on which to judge a matte top coat.

It leaves a tacky layer

A point to know before first use, because it is the exception in the range. Where No Sticky, Dark Story and Wow Glossy come out of the lamp dry, this one requires removing the dispersion layer with cotton soaked in high-concentration alcohol. Skipping that step leaves a surface that looks dirty and is not matte. Build it into your sequence.

How to apply it

Thin coat from cuticle to free edge, sixty seconds under the lamp, then remove the tacky layer. On a matte, thickness is more critical than on a gloss: too heavy a coat gives a powdery, milky look instead of the velvet you want.

What it transforms

This is a product that creates services rather than finishing them. On the Gypsum Gel HEYLOVE shades it is indispensable, since a gloss finish cancels the illusion of material. On a metallic such as Solid Platinum Gel HEYLOVE Light Gold it produces a brushed metal effect that has nothing to do with a mirror. And one matte finger among glossy ones is enough to structure a hand without adding colour.
