Reflective Gel Polish HEYLOVE Demure: the greyed beige of Qualities

Demure is a slightly greyed beige, cooler and paler than Graceful. The silver shimmer produces a very restrained champagne glow, giving the set the look of silk rather than that of a glitter polish.

What a cool ground does to a silver shimmer

The temperature of the ground drives the perceived colour of the glow. Over the rosy taupe of Graceful, the silver warms up and turns golden champagne. Over the greyed beige of Demure, it stays frankly silver and gives a more metallic, cooler result. Two neighbouring references, two quite distinct effects, which justifies having both rather than choosing.

How to apply it

After pH Bond HEYLOVE and Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, lay the Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear and cure for 30 seconds. Shake the bottle, then apply two thin coats of Demure, 60 seconds each. As with all pale shades, work evenly: differences in thickness show more than they do on a dark ground.

How many bottles to plan for

Neutrals with effect turn over faster than dark shades, because they are worn all year and not only in season. Across a nine-reference collection, Demure and Graceful are the two that empty first. If you are limiting your initial order, start with these rather than the dark ones.

For which occasions

This is a ceremony and wedding shade, where the neutral suits the protocol and the glow reveals itself in the photographs. It also works very well as an everyday set for a client who finds matte nudes a little dull without wanting to move to colour.

On which lengths

On short nails the result stays sober and perfectly suited to a professional setting. On longer shapes the shimmer has more surface to catch the light and the effect gains in presence without ever becoming showy.
