Reflective Gel Polish HEYLOVE Powerfull: the black of the Qualities collection

Powerfull is a frank black loaded with a silver shimmer of reflective particles. It is the reference that makes the effect most legible in the whole collection, for a simple reason: the darker the ground, the more the points of light stand out.

Why black is the best support for an effect

A silver shimmer laid over a pale ground melts into the mass and produces a discreet satin. The same shimmer over black becomes a clearly drawn scattering of stars. It is elementary physics, but it explains why blacks with effect systematically sell better than pale shades with effect, at an identical particle count.

How to apply it

Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, lay the Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear and cure for 30 seconds. Shake the bottle, then one or two coats of Powerfull at 60 seconds each. Finish with a glossy top: a matte one would extinguish the reflection.

A black ground and nail art

Reflective black is sufficient in itself and takes overloading badly. If you want to add decoration, stay with fine silver lines, which extend the shimmer instead of competing with it. Gold, by contrast, creates a warm-cool opposition that is hard to sustain on so dark a ground.

Who to recommend it to

Clients who wear black all year and are looking for a less austere variant, and those who want an effect without going to glitter. On long almond nails the result becomes frankly spectacular; on short nails it stays crisp and perfectly wearable at the office. It is by far the best-selling reference of this type of product, and one never to leave out of stock.

When to suggest it

All year round, with a clear peak from October onwards. It is one of the rare effect shades with no real seasonality, since black is worn in every season.
