Reflective Gel Polish HEYLOVE Daring - 15 ml

Reflective Gel Polish HEYLOVE Daring: the slate grey of Qualities

Daring rests on a bluish slate grey, almost black but not quite. That nuance changes a great deal: the ground stays dark enough to bring out the silver shimmer, while avoiding the severity of a frank black.

Daring or Gentle: two neighbouring greyed blues

The collection offers two, and the question will come up in front of your display. Reflective Gel Polish HEYLOVE Gentle is distinctly lighter and more frankly blue, in the slate blue register. Daring is darker and greyer, on the edge of black. On a single coat the difference softens; on two, it becomes obvious. If you only take one, Daring covers the need for a dark shade with effect, Gentle that of an identifiable colour.

How to apply it

After pH Bond HEYLOVE and Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, apply Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear, cure for 30 seconds, then Daring in one or two coats of 60 seconds. On dark shades, check the thickness along the side walls, where build-up shows immediately.

On short nails or long

Very dark greys have the advantage of being as wearable on short nails as on long, which is not true of frank blacks. On a short square hand, Daring stays sober and suits a professional environment; on a long almond, it gains presence without ever tipping into the demonstrative.

When to suggest it

This is a cold-season shade, one that accompanies winter clothing and dark coats. It suits clients who find black too stark but want to stay in the deep shades, which is a substantial part of the adult clientele.

Who to recommend it to

On a colour chart, this is often the shade that unlocks a client hesitating in front of the dark ones. It gives her the depth she is after and the reassurance that it is not quite a black.
