Reflective Gel Polish HEYLOVE Playfull: the fir green of Qualities

Playfull rests on a deep fir green, almost bottle, run through with a reflective silver shimmer. Dark green is an ideal ground for this kind of effect: dark enough to bring out the particles, coloured enough not to be mistaken for a black.

Dark shades with effect, a cold-season reflex

Demand for effect polishes follows a very marked rhythm. It collapses in spring and explodes from October, with a peak over the end-of-year holidays. A reflective fir green ticks every box for that period: the colour evokes the season, the effect suits evening lighting. This is a reference to order in September, not in March.

How to apply it

Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, then Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear cured for 30 seconds. Shake the bottle before use, then apply one or two coats of Playfull at 60 seconds each, and finish with a glossy top.

Who to suggest it to first

Clients who already wear green in Tint Base or classic Gel Polish, and who therefore know the effect of the colour on their own hand. Green remains the shade that meets the most resistance at the desk; adding an effect to an already intimidating colour rarely works on a first proposal.

What to combine it with

It goes very well with golds in nail art, which extend the festive spirit without conflicting with the silver of the shimmer. As an accent on one or two fingers over a nude, it also lets you offer the effect to a client who would not carry a dark green across the whole hand.

When to suggest it

From October to February, with a clear peak at the end of the year. Outside that window it stays wearable as an accent on one or two fingers, which lets you keep it in the display all year without it stagnating.
