Tint Base HEYLOVE Glam: the pink-red of the series

Glam sits between two neighbouring shades in the collection: pinker than Flannel, lighter than Rave. It is a deep pink-red, in the raspberry register.

The in-between colour nobody thinks to offer

The case comes up often in the salon. The client wants red but finds it too classic, or pink but finds it too soft. She cannot name what she is looking for, and neither can you if you only have the two extremes. A pink-red settles the situation in one set. Keep a sample tip of the three neighbouring shades so you can show rather than explain.

How to apply it

Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the free edge, air dry completely. One coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear as a substrate, cured for 30 seconds. One or two coats of Tint Base, 60 seconds each under a UV or LED lamp, then the top coat.

On which skin tones

Pink-red suits a wider range of skin tones than pure red, because its pink component softens the contrast. On a hand reddened by cold it harmonises where a frank red would sharpen the redness. It is a shade to offer in winter, when hands are marked.

Application comfort

The material does not run and does not migrate towards the lateral sinuses. You shape the architecture calmly, check it in the reflection, correct it before the lamp. The dense pigmentation covers the free edge from the first coat.

A word on wear

Glitter does not fade, it dulls: the top coat above it scratches, and the sparkle goes with it. That is why the quality of the seal decides how long the set stays impressive, far more than the gel underneath.
