Nail Cushion Set HEYLOVE Brown: ombre made reproducible

This kit brings together everything an ombre needs: six dedicated gels in Nude, Blue, White, Chocolate, Brown and Burgundy, three sponges and a metal holder. The palette leans towards browns and burgundies, with a blue and a white to open up the combinations.

The problem the dosing grid solves

A failed ombre almost always comes from the same gesture: too much material on the sponge. The transition becomes a border, you correct, you overload, and the coat ends up too thick. Each pot is fitted with a grid that calibrates the quantity deposited. Working through it, you get the same dose every time, and therefore the same fade from finger to finger. Without the grid the deposit is more intense: that is an option, not an oversight.

How to proceed

Open the pot and remove the white protective cap. Place the material on the sponge through the grid, fit the sponge into the holder. Apply the base and cure, then dab the colour towards the free edge to create the transition. Sixty seconds under the lamp per coat. Finish with a thin coat of base cured, then a thin coat of top coat: that combination is what prevents chipping on an ombre.

Mistakes can be corrected

A reassuring point to know, especially for a technician starting out on ombre. If you have deposited too much material, a clean sponge passed over the area removes the excess before curing. Nothing is final until the lamp has been in, which completely changes your relationship to the gesture.

Brown or White

The two kits do not address the same sets. This one, with its chocolates and burgundy, covers autumn, winter and olive skin tones. The Nail Cushion Set HEYLOVE White gathers pastels and pale nudes, better suited to spring and discreet sets. White is common to both.

This formula contains neither HEMA nor Di-HEMA, so it falls outside the European restriction that reserves those two substances for professional use.
