Tint Base HEYLOVE Chick: the lemon yellow of the Neon collection

Chick resembles nothing else in the catalogue. A yellow pulling frankly towards green, of extreme saturation, which captures the eye instantly.

An occasion collection

The distinction matters when ordering. Neon does not sell like the other collections: these shades answer no background demand, they answer an occasion. Festival, holidays, birthday, photo shoot. A client does not wear fluorescent for three weeks out of habit, she wears it for a precise moment. Order accordingly, in small quantities and as summer approaches.

Fluorescent is offered, not requested

No client walks in asking for fluorescent yellow. Many, however, say yes when it is shown to them at the right time. The right approach is to pull the tip out yourself as the holidays approach, and to offer an accent on one or two fingers rather than a complete set. That is how this family sells.

How to apply it

Degrease the plate thoroughly with pH Bond HEYLOVE. Lay the acid-free primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the free edge and wait until the liquid is completely dry. Apply a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear as a foundation and cure for 30 seconds. Then lay one or two coats of Tint Base, curing for 60 seconds in a UV or LED lamp. Finish with the top coat.

Laying a fluorescent over a light ground

This is the technical tip that changes everything with this family. A fluorescent shade laid straight onto the natural nail loses its brilliance, because the colour of the bed shows through and dulls the pigment. Lay a milky or white base before the colour: the intensity obtained is incomparable, and that is what the client expects when choosing neon.

How many bottles to plan for

On an occasion collection, one bottle per shade is plenty to start with.
