Tint Base HEYLOVE Stone: the blue-grey of the Forest collection

Stone lives up to its name. A grey run through with blue, moderately deep, which evokes stone rather than ash and gives the hand a contemporary look.

Placing the seven shades of the collection

The series covers four distinct families, which is better known before ordering. Two rosy neutrals, Blossom and Mushroom; two greens, Yoda in light sage and Leaf in very dark forest; one blue-grey, Stone; and two frank colours, Goji in raspberry and Moonlight in navy. Three well-spread references cover the bulk of requests, provided you take one from the neutrals, one from the greens and one from the colours.

Blue-grey, between neutral and colour

That is its real commercial position. Muted enough to be worn as a neutral at the office, coloured enough to be noticed when the hand is looked at closely. A client who finds beiges dull and colours too committing finds exactly the compromise she was looking for.

How to apply it

Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, lay the acid-free primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the free edge and let the liquid dry completely. Apply a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear as a foundation, cure for 30 seconds, then one or two coats of Tint Base to cure for 60 seconds in a UV or LED lamp.

On short nails the result stays graphic and crisp; on medium length the shade gains surface.

Which top to finish with

Gloss preserves the depth of the shade; a matte finish gives it a more contemporary look.
