Cat's Eye Gel Polish HEYLOVE Bengal: the fir green of the Cats collection

Bengal rests on a dense fir green, almost bottle. In a collection largely built on neutrals and browns, it is the only frankly green shade, and also the darkest of the series.

The darkest ground gives the most legible effect

The rule holds for the whole magnetic family: the contrast between the dense zone and the bright zone depends directly on the depth of the ground. On Bengal the gap is at its maximum, and the band appears as a frankly drawn stroke of light. It is the reference to choose to show the effect to a client who has never seen one, or for a photograph destined for a professional account.

How to apply it

Pass pH Bond HEYLOVE, let the primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE dry without the lamp, then cure a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear for 30 seconds. Bengal is laid in a thin veil, you complete it with a little material at the centre and level it out. The magnet is presented three to five seconds along the chosen axis, before a minute of lamp. On this very dark ground, a single application is often enough.

When to order it

Requests for effect polishes follow a very marked rhythm: they collapse in spring and pick up from October, with a peak over the end-of-year holidays. A magnetic fir green ticks every box for that period. It is a reference to plan for in September, not in March, if you want it to turn over.

How to get it adopted

Green remains the colour that meets the most resistance at the desk, and a dark green even more so. The magnetic effect shifts the attention: the client takes in the movement of the light rather than the colour. Offered as an accent on one or two fingers over a nude, it is accepted far more easily than as a full colour the first time.

This formula contains neither HEMA nor Di-HEMA, so it falls outside the European restriction that reserves those two substances for professional use.
