Cat's Eye Gel Polish HEYLOVE Sphinx: the golden beige of the Cats collection

Sphinx takes up the skin colour of the hairless cat it is named after: a warm golden beige, almost flesh. The collection plays systematically on the coats of feline breeds, and this is one of the most successful matches.

The nude with effect, a category of its own

A cat's eye over a nude ground does not behave like one over a coloured ground. The band stays visible but the contrast softens, so that the whole reads first as a natural manicure and only then as an effect. That is exactly what clients are after when they work somewhere a marked polish would be out of place, and still want something other than a flat colour.

How to apply it

Plate degreased with pH Bond HEYLOVE, primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE left to dry on its own, then 30 seconds of lamp on a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear. Sphinx is then laid in a light veil which you complete with a little material before levelling. The magnet is presented three to five seconds above the nail, then the lamp fixes everything in a minute. On this pale ground, a second application refines the result markedly.

A shade that ages well

Its closeness to the natural colour of the plate softens the regrowth line. A client who stretches her appointments to four or five weeks will not see a sharp line appear at the cuticle, unlike what happens with a contrasted shade. With a loyal but busy clientele, that is a concrete argument.

Who to recommend it to

Clients who alternate between imposed discretion and a wish for novelty, and those who find classic nudes a little dull. It is also a good first experience of the magnetic effect for a hesitant client: the effect is there, but never demonstrative.

This formula contains neither HEMA nor Di-HEMA, so it falls outside the European restriction that reserves those two substances for professional use.
