Gel Polish HEYLOVE Burberry: the deepest burgundy of the Basic collection

Burberry closes the red series with its darkest shade. A burgundy so dense that it reads as a black in a dimly lit room, and only reveals its red cast when exposed to direct light.

The near-black, a category of its own

This type of shade answers a precise demand: that of clients who want the depth of a black without its austerity. The red ground softens everything, without anyone being able to name it immediately. It is also a colour that ages remarkably well between appointments, since its density masks the micro-scratches pale shades let show.

How to apply it

Dry with pH Bond HEYLOVE, lay Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the edge and let it set on its own, then cure Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear for 30 to 60 seconds. Shake, apply Burberry in a thin veil, one minute of lamp. Go over the outline with a brush before the lamp: on a shade this dense, a mark left on the skin becomes impossible to correct afterwards.

Burberry or Off

The question comes up for a client hesitating between a black and a near-black. Off is frankly black and reads as a neutral colour. Burberry keeps a red warmth that softens the hand and reveals itself as soon as direct light reaches it. At conversation distance the two look alike; on the hand, the gap is clear.
