That is the logic of the eight Gel Polish envelopes in the catalogue. Unlike the Tint Base collections, which group shades around a world, these divide the complete range into chromatic families. This one covers white, black and the whole progression of reds through to burgundy: it is a slice of the chart, not a collection.

Reds are told apart by their undertone

Six of the eight references are reds, separated by their dominant. A red leans either towards orange or towards blue, and that nuance changes everything on the hand: a cool red on golden skin looks purplish. That is what the order of the display must make visible, going from the most orange to the deepest.

How to apply them

Stick each label on the matching tip, on the side that does not carry the colour, before fixing the tip to the ring or fan. Label as you build: six reds applied on the same day cannot be reassigned.

On and Off, the two technical references

The white and the black in this envelope are not seasonal colours but fundamentals, used in french, design and accents. They justify permanent stock, unlike collection shades.

Take care with the cuticle line

On these eight saturated shades, a trace of material on the skin near the cuticle can be seen from a metre away and becomes unrecoverable after curing. Go round the edge systematically with the tip of a clean brush before the lamp.
