Cat's Eye Gel Polish HEYLOVE Mystic: the greyed pink of the Magic collection

Mystic rests on a pink softened by grey, halfway between nude and powdery mauve. On a ground this pale, the magnetic particles create a pearly, diffuse reflection, a long way from the contrasted band you get on dark grounds.

Pale ground or dark ground: two different effects

This is the rule that governs the whole family of products. On a dark ground the magnetic band cuts sharply and the effect is noticed at once. On a pale ground like this one, the difference in brightness between the dense zone and the light zone is small: the reflection becomes a silky ripple. Neither is superior to the other, but they correspond to two opposite clienteles, and it is useful to know that before ordering.

How to apply it

Begin by dehydrating with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, then Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear cured for 30 seconds. Mystic is worked in a thin coat, with a drop added and then smoothed. Three to five seconds of magnet are enough, followed by a minute of curing. On this very pale shade the second coat is almost never superfluous: it is what makes the reflection genuinely visible on the hand.

Two sets, two results

This is a loyalty argument few technicians exploit. Since you are the one directing the magnet, the same client can come back with the same bottle and leave with a different manicure: a vertical band this month, a diagonal one next. The product costs nothing more, the service renews itself, and the client feels she has had bespoke work.
