Cat's Eye Gel Polish HEYLOVE Persian: the pink beige of the Cats collection

Persian takes up the softness of the Persian's long coat in a pale pink beige, very lightly powdered. The magnetic reflection takes on a pearly cast there, reminiscent of a pearl, without ever reaching the contrast of the deeper shades in the series.

Devon or Persian: how to choose

The two shades look alike in a catalogue and differ clearly on the nail. Devon is a cream white, cooler and milkier, which visually lengthens the plate. Persian is a pink beige, warmer, which brings the colour of the nail closer to that of the skin. On a client whose hands are reddened by cold or wet work, Persian softens where Devon would sharpen the contrast.

How to apply it

Degreasing with pH Bond HEYLOVE, primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE dried without the lamp, then 30 seconds on a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear. Persian is laid in a thin veil, you add a little material at the centre and level carefully. The magnet is held three to five seconds, the lamp a minute. A second application densifies the pearly reflection without thickening the set.

In French and in nail art

Its paleness makes it an excellent base for a rosy French, where the smile line shows up better than over a matte nude. It also serves as a ground for minimalist decoration: on a pearly surface, a fine line gains relief with nothing else needed.

Who to recommend it to

This is the go-anywhere shade of the collection, the one to offer when the client has no precise idea. It suits almost every skin tone, wears in any season and never takes over the hand, which also makes it a good choice for a first set.

This formula contains neither HEMA nor Di-HEMA, so it falls outside the European restriction that reserves those two substances for professional use.
